Setup Medical Imaging

Please follow these steps for the smoothest experience in sending imaging to our team. If you ever have questions or need to check the status of a request, you may contact our team at 970-479-5886 or email teamsachar@thesteadmanclinic.com.

MRI

  1. Decide on where you will have your medical imaging performed. Click here to view our Preferred Medical Imaging Locations.
    *choosing a preferred medical location will allow the quickest turnaround to review results
  2. Call 970-479-5886 and leave a voicemail providing:  your name, your date of birth, and location you want to have your MRI performed at. Our team will obtain insurance approval for the MRI at that location and notify the facility of the authorization. Once completed, we will contact you so you may schedule.  *Many facilities will not schedule your MRI without insurance approval.
  3. Once your MRI is scheduled, please contact 970-479-5886 to notify when the MRI is scheduled to be performed and how (option 1-3) images will be sent back to us. Click here to view 3 options of getting imagery back to The Steadman Clinic.
    *If you choose one of our preferred locations, we can view your images instantly without any action on your end.
  4. Once your MRI has been completed and images received, a member of our team will contact you to set up a virtual or in person visit to go over results. If you ever need to check status on your request, you may call 970-479-5886 or email teamsachar@thesteadmanclinic.com.

X-Rays

To ease the continued travel before and after surgery, Dr. Kavi Sachar may offer to obtain x-rays locally, send imaging to us, and review at a virtual visit.

EMG

Some diagnoses require an EMG (electromyography) study to be performed. EMG’s may be done at any location available in your area.  If you ever have questions or need to check the status of a request, you may contact our team at 970-479-5886 or email teamsachar@thesteadmanclinic.com.

  1. Research your local area to find where you may have an EMG performed (list of options below). Contact 970-479-5886 or email teamsachar@thesteadmanclinic.com to let us know where you’d like to have the EMG done, so we may fax your order to them. Please list this info on your voicemail: name, date of birth, location of EMG, and fax number to that facility.
  2. When the EMG is performed, please request that the facility sends the final EMG report to our fax 970-458-4585 (this is also included on the order).
  3. Once scheduled for an EMG, please call 970-479-5886 or email teamsachar@thesteadmanclinic.com so we may coordinate a follow up virtual or in person visit to review results of the EMG and next steps in care.
